The idea behind the Curly Girl Method is treating your curls with the love and respect that they deserve and getting rid of all shampoos and conditioners which contain ingredients such as Sulphates, Silicones and Drying Alcohols. These need to be avoided as they cause the hair to become dry, lacking in life and, of course, the dreaded ‘frizz.’
